I’ve never been someone who jumps in
just because everyone else is.
I’ll watch.
I’ll listen.
I’ll ask questions.
I want to understand what’s actually happening
before I decide where I stand.
Not to be difficult.
Not to push back.
Just… to be sure it makes sense.
If I’m in,
it’s because I believe in it—
not because it was already moving.
And if that means I’m a little slower to speak,
or slower to act…
I’m okay with that.
I’d rather be intentional
than automatic.
