I stepped out of my usual rhythm for a bit over the weekend.

Nothing was wrong, exactly.
But everything felt… a little loud.
Like too many things coming in at once, even if none of them were urgent.

So I did something different.

Not productive.
Not something that moved anything forward.
Just something simple.

I sat down and colored for a while.

No plan.
No goal.
Just enough to shift my attention somewhere quieter.

It didn’t solve anything.
But it gave my mind somewhere else to land.

And that was enough.

I think I forget sometimes that I don’t always have to push through the same loop just because I started in it.

Sometimes stepping out—even briefly—changes more than staying in ever will.

Have you stepped out of your usual rhythm at all this weekend?
