Bits & Pieces

A collection of observations, passing thoughts, and pieces that don’t quite belong anywhere else. Not every thought arrives as a complete story. Some show up as a sentence, a question, or a small moment worth keeping, This is where those pieces gather.

Observations

3.30: Sometimes what looks like boredom is unused capacity.

4.29: Sourdough rises quietly—most of it happens where you can’t see.

5.17: Spring days feel less like a season and more like the world trying out different moods.

6.20: My coffee journey currently consists of equal parts caffeine and curiosity. Every homemade coffee tastes better when I tell myself how much money I didn’t spend. The coffee is improving. My measuring methods remain suspicious.

Rio & Remi

3.30: Rio checks in by getting closer. Remi checks in by getting louder.

4.29: I didn’t realize a room could breathe until both dogs fell asleep at the same time.

5.17: Sometimes the steadiest thing in a room is the dog who sighs deeply, circles once, and settles back into sleep like the world can wait a minute.

6.20: If one dog gets up, the other assumes something important is happening.

A Few Of My Favorite Things
